Anna Fasano
Anna is the Chair of the Board of Directors of IMPact SGR. She has been active in the ethical finance and social economy sectors for over twenty years. Formerly a member of the Board of Etica Sgr, she served as President of Banca Etica from 2019 to 2025. Prior to that, she gained extensive experience in social housing, international cooperation, and Third Sector governance. She has dedicated her career to promoting development models that integrate social and environmental impact with economic sustainability. Anna holds a degree in Banking Economics.
Fausto Artoni
Fausto is a member of the Board of Directors of IMPact SGR. He started his career as an Italian Equity Sales Associate in 1982 and in 1994 he moved to Indosuez – Crédit Agricole, where he served as Lead Equity Fund Manager. In 1998 he became Investment Co-Director of the Azimut Group’s flexible funds, as well as of its Italian equity funds. During his years with the Azimut Group, he was also appointed member of the Investment Committee and sat on the Board of Directors of a number of group companies. Starting in 2021, he is in charge of managing Art. 9 SFDR products with high sustainability ambition in the Italian equity market. Fausto holds a degree in Economics and Business.
Stefano Mach
Stefano is CEO and a member of the Board of Directors of IMPact SGR. He started his career in the financial markets in 1986 and for over 20 years he worked as a Milan-based broker for leading Italian and international financial institutions. In 2008 he was appointed Senior Fund Manager at the Azimut Group, where he sat, at different times, on the Investment Committee and on the Board of Directors. As Senior Fund Manager, he designed and successfully launched innovative financial products based on a dynamic multi-asset management approach, encompassing both bonds and equity, with a specific focus on optional instruments. Stefano holds a degree in Economics and Business.
Carlo Barbarisi
Carlo is a member of the Board of Directors of IMPact SGR. He contributes specialized expertise in capital markets, regulatory affairs, and strategy, developed over thirty years in credit and debt markets—primarily within financial institutions and rating agencies in senior leadership, strategic, or advisory roles. He is currently a Senior Advisor at STS Verification International GmbH in Frankfurt. Carlo has a degree in Political Economy.
Giacinto Palladino
Giacinto is a member of the Board of Directors of IMPact SGR. He boasts solid experience in the banking and financial sector, consolidated through prominent operational roles in investment and credit. He served as a member of the Board of Banca Etica for twelve years, during which time he also sat on the Executive Committee. Currently, he is a member of the Board of Etica Sgr, where he serves on the Investment Committee. In parallel, he has developed specific expertise in risk management and the administration of pension and health funds, alongside a steadfast commitment to Third Sector policies through union and social initiatives.
Rosa Sangiorgio
Rosa is a member of the Board of Directors of IMPact SGR. An investor and expert in impact investing, she has over twenty years of international experience in structuring and managing both traditional and sustainable investment solutions for institutional and private investors. Throughout her career, she has held leadership roles at major European financial institutions, with a focus on sustainability since 2012. She serves as Chair of the Executive Committee of the Swiss Platform for Impact Investing and is a member of the Board of the Women’s Brain Foundation. Rosa is a Certified European Financial Analyst (CEFA) and a TEDx speaker. Her background brings specialized expertise to the Board in financial markets, investment solutions, and active ownership.
Gherardo Spinola
Gherardo is the Chief Investment Officer and member of IMPact’s Sustainability Committee. From 1993 to 2018, he held the position of manager at the Azimut Group, specialising in international equity. At Azimut, he has managed the balanced fund since 1991 and the Trend fund since 1993, the first flexible fund launched on the Italian market. He also holds the positions of Director and Co-Investment Director at the Azimut Group. From 1989 to 1993, he worked as a manager for private clients at Euromobiliare SpA. During his time with the Azimut Group, Gherardo contributed to the launch and management of the Sustainable Equity Trend fund. Since 2021, he has been responsible for managing Art. 9 SFDR products with high sustainability ambitions on the global stock market. Gherardo holds a degree in Economics and Business.
